jsScroll: Demos: One Two Three Four Five Spec.s Doc
The
jsScroll
Applet is presented
here in five demonstrations.
What jsScroll
Is
jsScroll is a
scrolling message display applet -- but unlike most such tools,
it is controlled almost entirely from a JavaScript function, rather
than through the usual host of HTML parameters.
This gives
designers considerable flexibility, as you'll see in the
demos
provided. Each message, as well as its link and target,
are set
directly from the jsScroll applet's jssDo()
function.
Text color, text link color, and background color can also be
dynamically set from this JavaScript function.
Additionally,
because messages are loaded dynamically, there is no
practical
limit to how many messages can be used.
jsScroll also
automatically sizes your message text and centers it vertically
in the applet space, so the applet height effectively sets the text size.
Important
This applet
requires some knowledge of JavaScript to use. Though we regret
we haven't staff to tutor individually, we *have* included very clear, clean
code
samples of every single demo in the download. Please study the code!
(Note that you can right-click / view source on our demos.)
If you're
unfamiliar with JavaScript-controlled applets, please be sure
to download and try the free version (at left) before purchasing!
